Unable to sign into Word error message “You need to do something extra before we can sign you in”.
Your Office 365 password has expired.
Sign into Office 365 using IE as normal https://login.microsoftonline.com and you will be prompted to reset your password.
Do this and you will then be able to sign into Word OK
